Hobert Rupe has extensive experience in government administration and legal practice, currently serving as the Executive Director of the State of Nebraska since January 2004, where responsibilities include overseeing a Governmental Commission that regulates over 5,000 license holders and manages the collection of more than $29 million in excise taxes. Prior to this role, Hobert Rupe was an Assistant Attorney General at the Nebraska Department of Justice from May 1994 to January 2004, focusing on civil litigation. Hobert Rupe earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Nebraska College of Law from 1989 to 1992 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in History from Northwest Missouri State University between 1985 and 1989.
