Matt Tewes

Matt Tewes serves as the Executive Assistant to the President and Government Relations Director at Nebraska Wesleyan University since June 2021, overseeing strategies to foster relationships with legislative bodies and local officials. Prior to this role, Matt Tewes worked as an Administrative Aide at the Nebraska Legislature, where communication with constituents and managing written correspondence were key responsibilities. Early experiences include an internship in Congressional Affairs for the U.S. House of Representatives, a Voter Expansion Internship at the Democratic National Committee, and serving as Student Body President at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Matt Tewes holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, both from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
