Steven Towill

Steven Towill is a seasoned IT professional with over 25 years of experience in systems engineering, specializing in storage and backup solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at NEC Australia since April 2018, Steven has honed expertise in storage technologies including IBM DS4xxx series, NetApp, HP 3PAR, and Dell PowerVault, as well as backup systems like TSM, Backup Exec, and NetBackup. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Santos Ltd from 1998 to 2018 involved roles as a Windows Server, Storage and Backup Administrator, where Steven contributed to the migration of systems to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and developed automation tools to optimize costs. Previous positions include Windows Support Engineer and Systems Engineer with various companies. Steven holds an Associate Diploma in Electronics Engineering and Computer Applications from TAFE SA.
