Gabriel Prado

Gabriel Prado is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in marketing, business development, and product management. Currently serving as the Director of the Service Provider Unit at NEC Corporation of America since March 2014, Gabriel leads initiatives focusing on SDN and NFV software platforms, optical transport, and wireless solutions. Previous roles include General Manager at Secure Data Networking, LLC, and Director positions at AboveNet Communications and Verizon, where Gabriel successfully developed innovative solutions and drove significant revenue growth. Early career achievements include leading product management at Bayan Telecommunications Inc. in the Philippines, where revenue increased dramatically, and at Bell Atlantic, where revenue targets were consistently exceeded. Gabriel holds a BBA in Marketing from Baruch College and an MBA from Adelphi University.
