David Matthews

David Matthews has extensive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, currently serving as the Manager of Facilities & EHS at NEC Energy Solutions since August 2015. Previously, David held the position of EHS Consultant at Matthews Consulting & Contracting from January 2014 to August 2015 and worked as the Global EHS Manager at GSI Group Inc from June 2006 to May 2013. David’s career also includes significant roles at Genuity Corporation, MKS Instruments, Lam Research Corporation, and SimplexGrinnell, where responsibilities encompassed EHS program design, facility management, safety training, and compliance with various regulations. David received the Howard Hines Award for "Safety Employee of the Year" from the Central Mass Safety Council, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high safety standards throughout an accomplished career. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Behavior Studies from Lesley University and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Newbury College.
