Yukiya Shimba

Yukiya Shimba is an experienced professional in brand communication and creative design, currently serving as Group Director of the Thought Leadership Marketing Group at the 国際社会経済研究所 (IISE) since December 2023, under assignment from NEC. With a career spanning over two decades, Yukiya has held various prominent roles at NEC Corporation, including Director of Brand Communication Design and Communication Designer/Manager. Prior to NEC, Yukiya was a Creative Project Director at 電通アイソバー and has experience in leading creative initiatives in multiple organizations, including 株式会社電通, TYO Inc., and Great Works. Yukiya began a career in media arts at the NTT InterCommunication Center and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Applied Arts from the University of Oregon.
