Peter Hester

Peter Hester is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the engineering and management sectors, currently serving as the Marketing Business Development Manager at MAI since May 2019 and as Project Manager at UM Storage Gladstone Dock Port of Liverpool since July 2017. In the latter role, Peter oversees the installation of pipelines and the maintenance of storage tanks. Previous experience includes serving as Managing Director and Head of Operations at OIS INDORAMA Ports Limited from April 2015 to September 2016, where Peter led operations for an import/export terminal and was involved in the transportation of Urea fertilizer. Peter's background also includes significant roles at Lafarge, where responsibilities varied from managing special projects involving the decommissioning of industrial facilities to ensuring compliance with operational standards and safety protocols. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Manufacturing and Production Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University, earned between 1982 and 1985.
