Alkisti Rocanas

Alkisti Rocanas has extensive work experience, beginning in 2015 with an internship at Unilever. Alkisti gained insight into multinational corporations and the different fields of work which collaborate by engaging in discussions with employees from various sectors. In 2016, they held internships at Orange Grove and Neimer and Komna Law Firm, where they gained an understanding of copyright and trademark law. In 2018, they held a Legal Researcher role at the Land Portal Foundation, where they prepared a legal report concerning the land register in Greece. From 2019 to 2021, they held an Intern role at Thomas Miller, where they familiarized herself with P&I Club components, such as underwriting, defence and loss prevention, and gained an understanding of different ship types and the risks typically associated with certain trades. Alkisti also held Business Development Associate and Business Development Assistant roles at Norbloc, and a Legal Research Intern role at the Center for Research on Democracy & Law.

Alkisti Rocanas has a rich educational history, beginning with their International Baccalaureate and Cambridge IGCSE from Campion School Athens from 2013 to 2017. Alkisti then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Maastricht University in European Law from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, they graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Law. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law and Technology at Tilburg University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their educational history, Alkisti Rocanas has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Create a Go-to-Market Plan," "Marketing Tools: SEO," "Storytelling for Advertising Campaigns," "Writing Ad Copy," and "Writing a Marketing Plan." Alkisti has also obtained several certifications from the EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office, such as "EUTM and RCD Learning Plan for University Students," "Can a taste be protected by copyright?," and "Commercial Exploitation of IP Rights: Trade Mark Licensing."
