Xavi Creus has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering industry since 2011. In 2011, they were an Electronic Project Manager and Electronic Team Member for ETSEIB Motorsport, where they helped design, build and set-up an electric racing car. In 2013, they worked as a Firmware & Hardware Development Engineer for Ingenia Motion Control, where they were responsible for hardware and software development of ECUs for motion control applications. From 2014 to 2016, they worked for Volkswagen AG as a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) Engineer and for TTTech Computertechnik AG as an Automotive Software Engineer. Since 2017, they have been a Co-Founder & CEO and Founder & CEO of Nectios.

Xavi Creus has a diverse educational background. In 2008, they earned a Master's Degree in Electronics and Information Technology from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2013, they attended Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they studied Elektrotechnik at the Institut für Hochspannungstechnik und Elektrische Energieanlagen (ELENIA). In 2014, they completed a Leadership and Delegation: Lead and Grow with Your Team course at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. In 2015-2016, they completed a Master's Degree in Project Management at EAE Business School. Xavi also earned a Certificate in Advanced English (C1) from Cambridge English Language Assessment and a Goethe-Zertifikat B2 from Goethe Institut in 2015. In 2016-2017, they earned a Master's Degree in Banking, Financial Markets and Wealth Management from EAE Business School. In 2017, they obtained a SAFe® Agilist (SA) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. and a Project Management Professional® (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute. In 2016, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. In 2018, they began taking courses from Udemy Academy in Web, Business and Personal Development. Finally, in 2022, they are expected to complete the XIV Business Angels & Family Offices Academy at IESE Business School, where they are studying Investments and Securities.
