Christel Geurts

Christel Geurts is a software engineer at Nedap Livestock Management since November 2021, focusing on .NET projects in Azure to develop cloud applications for the dairy farming production chain. Prior to this role, Christel served as an R&D Trainee in Data Science at Hendrix Genetics from October 2019 to September 2021, working on digital phenotyping using computer vision technologies to improve animal welfare and breeding processes. Experience also includes a position as a Data Scientist at Info Support from January 2018 to October 2019 and responsibilities in internal relations at S.H.B.V. Sagittarius from March 2013 to April 2015. Christel holds multiple degrees from the University of Twente, including a Master of Science in Human Media Interaction and a Master of Science in Human Factors Engineering, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Animal Science from Wageningen University & Research.
