Signal Processing Engineer at Nedap Retail

Maarten van Megen is a Signal Processing Engineer at Nedap Retail since August 2013, where responsibilities include developing new electronic article surveillance products utilizing RF(ID) technology. Prior to this role, Maarten served as a PhD Candidate at the University of Twente from July 2009 to July 2013, focusing on the development of nanostructured electrodes for the detection of surface-attached electroactive macromolecules. Maarten also completed an internship at the Van der Veer Institute for Parkinson's & Brain Research in late 2008, contributing to the enhancement of a tool for assessing driving abilities in patients with neurological disorders. Maarten holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente and completed secondary education at Olympus College with a VWO degree.
