Jeroen Somsen

Jeroen Somsen has a diverse work experience in the high-tech industry. Jeroen started their career as an R&D Engineer at Nedap Livestock management and later became a Project Manager in the same company. Continuing their journey at Nedap, Jeroen worked as a Sales Manager in Europe for the Nedap Industrial Tagging unit. In 2001, they took on the role of Managing Director at Nedap AVI, where they established the AVI business unit from scratch to capitalize on the growing market for vehicle identification applications. Currently, Jeroen holds the position of Managing Director at Nedap Light Controls, leading a team that creates high-quality hardware and software products to enhance productivity and success in professional lives. Additionally, Jeroen briefly worked as an Automotive Engineer at Texas Instruments.

Jeroen Somsen attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1985 to 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jeroen also attended INSEAD in 2007, where they focused on Competitive Strategy.
