Angie Briel

Angie Briel is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in digital banking and product development across various leading financial institutions. Currently serving as Product Owner III at Nedbank since October 2024, Angie previously held key roles at Momentum as Head of Product Management and Product Owner, where significant contributions included launching a lifestyle app to support young professionals in managing burnout. At Standard Bank South Africa, notable achievements included developing lending solutions for informal traders and expanding digital banking capabilities across Africa. Angie started their career at Absa Group, where management of digital product offerings led to the successful launch of the first mobile banking app for South Africa's largest bank. Angie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a diploma in Business Administration and Management from GIBS Business School, as well as a Matric certificate from Sunward Park High School.
