Poovi Pillay

Poovi Pillay has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Executive Head: Strategy & CSI at Nedbank since January 2001, focusing on strategic development for corporate social investment (CSI) and socio-economic growth. With a strong background in client engagement, financial inclusion, and marketing strategies, Poovi has held various leadership roles including Executive: Entry Level Banking, Head of Client Engagement Segments, and Regional Manager for Private Banking. Poovi's academic qualifications include numerous advanced management and economics programs from prestigious institutions such as INSEAD and London Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes running a food business, and early career as an Associate Lecturer, where Poovi contributed to the education of future business leaders.
