Vicky Soobramany

Vicky Soobramany is a seasoned compliance and assurance professional with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as the CIB Senior Compliance Manager at Nedbank since July 2017, Vicky previously held the position of Head: WIMI Management Assurance at Barclays Africa Group Limited from July 2015 to July 2017, managing a team of assurance consultants. Vicky’s career includes significant roles at Wealth Investment Management and Insurance, including Manager - Management Assurance and Assurance Consultant, where a focus on independent risk management and assurance reviews was key. Earlier experience at Nedbank involved roles such as Internal Audit Manager and Internal Auditor, where Vicky contributed to the development and execution of internal audit plans and assurance audits across various banking activities. Vicky holds a B.Comm in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has completed several leadership and management programs, enhancing strategic and risk management skills.
