Leila Kester is a highly experienced Senior Pilates Specialist, currently serving at Het Nationale Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater, where contributions focus on injury recovery and enhancing dancers' movement strategies. As the owner of Leila's Pilates studio in Amsterdam, Leila provides individualized training utilizing state-of-the-art Balanced Body Pilates equipment. Additionally, Leila acts as an Educator for Polestar Pilates in the Netherlands and Greece, teaching future instructors, and has co-founded Pilates Nederland, delivering workshops in the region. Leila has also been involved with numerous prestigious organizations, including presenting for the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) and guest teaching for the Austrian Olympic Rowing Team. With a comprehensive educational background in Pilates and dance, Leila continues to support and educate dancers while promoting body awareness and care.
