Vuyelwa Qobo

Vuyelwa Qobo is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at Nedgroup Investments since September 2023. Prior to this role, Vuyelwa held several positions at STANLIB from January 2018 to September 2023, including Senior Specialist: Communications and Brand Specialist: Marketing and Communications. Previous experience includes roles at JOHN SMITH INTERNATIONAL LTD as Academic Liaison Manager and Acting General Manager, as well as instructional roles at North West University, where Vuyelwa was also a co-founder and radio host of the Afternoon Drivetime show, The Overflow. Vuyelwa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and an Honours degree in Political Studies from North-West University, in addition to various certifications in financial markets, online advertising, and digital brand strategy. Currently, Vuyelwa is pursuing a Master of Arts in ICT Policy and Regulation at the University of the Witwatersrand, expected to be completed in October 2024.
