Emily Atkins

Emily Atkins is an accomplished costume designer and manager with extensive experience in the theatre and retail industries. Currently serving as General Manager at Need Supply Co. since August 2017, Emily has also held the position of Assistant Store Manager. In the realm of costume design, Emily has collaborated on notable productions for Firehouse Theatre Project Inc. and TheaterLAB, contributing to works such as "Green Day's American Idiot," "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," and "Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play." Previous roles include Wardrobe Supervisor at Richmond Ballet and various design and assistant roles for recognized companies such as PBS and Busch Gardens. Emily holds a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
