Charles Shi

Charles Shi has extensive work experience, starting in 2007 as a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Lab. Charles then joined Applied Materials in 2013, where they worked in Product & Business Management until 2019. Since 2019, Charles has been employed at Needham & Company, initially as a Vice President, Research Analyst. Charles was later promoted to Principal, Senior Analyst, and currently holds the position of Managing Director, Senior Analyst.

Charles Shi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Charles also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Furthermore, Charles holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University. Charles has additional certifications in Series 63, 86, and 87 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
