Kristen D'Amato Mazzocchi

Kristen D'Amato Mazzocchi is an experienced theater director and educator with a diverse background in performing arts administration and programming. Currently serving as Theater Director and Teacher at Needham Public Schools since September 2021, Kristen has previously held significant roles such as Interim Chief of Staff at The Phoenix Symphony and Production Manager at Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. A self-employed Teaching Artist/Director and Production Manager from July 2006 to January 2022, Kristen has directed for various organizations, including Next Generation Theatre Company and Celebrity Series of Boston. Kristen's earlier experience includes roles at Improv Asylum, Huntington Theatre Company, and Citi Performing Arts Center. Academically, Kristen holds a Master's Degree in Arts Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Economics from Boston College.
