Melane Bisbas

Melane Bisbas has extensive experience in school business operations, currently serving as the School Business and Operations Coordinator for Needham Public Schools since September 2001. In this role, Melane has taken on expanded responsibilities while maintaining previous functions, showcasing adaptability and leadership. Prior to this position, Melane was the Assistant to the Director of Financial Operations, contributing significantly to the financial software conversion project and facilitating training for staff. As Lead Accountant, Melane improved departmental processes and communications with town counterparts, and as School Bookkeeper at Mitchell School, enhanced office organization and customer service. Additionally, Melane worked as a self-employed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker from January 1992 to June 2008. Educational background includes a degree from Boston College, earned between 1987 and 1991.
