Urja Bhatnagar has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Urja began their career at Kanika Exports, where they worked as a Merchandiser from April 2007 to June 2009. In this role, they were responsible for fabric and lab testing, as well as assisting a Senior Merchandiser.
Following their time at Kanika Exports, Urja joined SPS GLOBAL as a Garment Merchandiser in June 2009. Urja stayed with the company until April 2013, managing various merchandising activities.
Urja then joined Fashionistas in July 2012 as a Merchandiser for garments, both woven and leathers. Urja'sresponsibilities included core merchandising activities, cost negotiations, and showroom arrangement. Urja also worked closely with the Quality team.
In April 2013, Urja joined Rainbow Legend as a Sr. Merchandiser. Here, they worked on customer trends, sample development, costing, price closure, and order closure. Urja also handled sourcing based on seasonal trends and maintained testing and care instructions for products. Urja'srole involved following up on new samples and orders until the product was shipped.
Most recently, Urja started working at Needle & Thread in June 2016 as a Product Developer. Further details about their role are not provided.
Urja Bhatnagar attended D.A.V. Public school from 1991 to 2002. Following this, they enrolled at Modern Vidya Niketan in Faridabad from 2002 to 2004 to complete their High School education with a focus on commerce.
