The NEEDS Center is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2012 by professionals with numerous years of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities services and supports. The NEEDS Center’s mission is to provide education, training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live as independently as possible. The leadership team of the NEEDS Center all have extensive histories of working with people with developmental disabilities and have specialized in working with people who present with challenging behavior. The NEEDS Center has grown since it began providing services in April of 2014 to include 11 adult group residences and 2 day support programs. In addition, as of July 2017, NEEDS Center also includes a consulting division that provides behavioral and other supports to children with autism and other developmental disabilities in both school and home settings.

The Support Services Team at the NEEDS Center is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities by coordinating tailored educational and therapeutic programs. This team collaborates closely with clinicians and support staff to ensure that services align with each individual's needs, facilitates recruitment and training of specialized personnel, and promotes community awareness through targeted marketing efforts. By fostering a supportive environment, the team empowers individuals to achieve greater independence and well-being.

The Leadership Team at the NEEDS Center is responsible for steering the organization toward its mission of providing education, training, and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Comprised of the President and CEO, the Vice President of Special Projects, and the Vice President of Day Services, the team oversees the strategic direction, ensures the quality of services, and manages new initiatives such as the consulting division. Their extensive experience in the field enables them to address both the growth and the evolving needs of the individuals they serve.
