Hiltjo V. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. In their current role as Chief Integration Officer at Neele-Vat, they are responsible for overseeing integration efforts within the company. Hiltjo also serves as a Board Member and Director at the same company.

Prior to this, Hiltjo worked at Indofin Group as the General Manager for North America and as an Investment Manager. At RadiantFleet, they served as a Board Member and was involved in developing traction and growth strategies for the maritime industry, which resulted in significant revenue growth.

Hiltjo also has experience in the legal field, having worked as a Legal Clerk at Hoge Raad der Nederlanden, where they supported judges in analyzing cases and preparing conclusions or judgments. Additionally, they worked as a part-time Lecturer at Leiden University, teaching tax law courses.

Before entering the legal field, Hiltjo co-founded EUTAXEXPERT.COM, an online platform focusing on European and International case law. Hiltjo also worked at Sdu Uitgevers as a member of the editorial board for NTFR.

At the start of their career, Hiltjo was a Tax Consultant at PwC, where they provided advice on domestic and international tax matters to multinational enterprises. Hiltjo was also an active member of PwC's Tax Solutions Group. Prior to that, they interned at Ahold, where they provided tax advice and communication within the organization. Early in their career, they held a Juridical employee role at NCR.

Hiltjo V. obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued an LL.M. in Fiscal Law at Leiden University in 2007 and 2008. In 2004 to 2007, Hiltjo earned their LL.B. in Tax Law from the same institution. Additionally, they completed another LL.B. degree in Law with a minor in Business Administration from Leiden University from 2003 to 2006.
