Durgesh Gupta

Durgesh Gupta is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience in iron making technology. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Iron Making Technology at Stegra since September 2021, Durgesh previously held the position of Head of Operations for the Direct Reduction Department at Qatar Steel Company from December 2003 to September 2021. Prior to that role, Durgesh worked as Assistant Manager in Direct Reduction at Ispat Industries Ltd from May 1997 to December 2003. Durgesh Gupta earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, completing studies from 1993 to 1997.
