Andy Thomas, CFI, CFEI, serves as the Northwest Regional Manager and Fire Analyst at NEFCO Fire Investigations since November 2019, with expertise in investigating fire scenes and explosions in accordance with NFPA 1033 standards. Prior experience includes serving as a Fire Investigator at DONAN from May 2017 to November 2019 and as Detective Lieutenant at Bannock County Sheriff’s Office from July 1986 to May 2017. Andy Thomas possesses strong analytical skills, preparing comprehensive investigation reports that include cause and origin analysis, witness statements, and various forms of documentation. Education was completed at Idaho State University.
