Ed Keaton started their career as a Project Engineer at KS Associates, Inc. in 1992 and worked there until 1996. Ed then joined Neff & Associates as Vice President in 1996. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and supervision of the Engineering, Surveying, and Land Planning Departments. Ed maintained close relationships with clients and city/county officials to ensure smooth and efficient project design and approval processes. Additionally, Ed directly managed contracts, survey base maps, and engineering design for the Survey/Engineering group, working directly with Dominion East Ohio Gas for the replacement design of their existing steel gas mains.
Ed Keaton attended Lorain County Community College from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained an Associate's Degrees in Pre-engineering, Mathematics, and Science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering at Cleveland State University, completing their degree from 1989 to 1992. In August 1997, Ed obtained the certification of Professional Engineer (Civil) from the State of Ohio.
