Candace Jackson currently serves as the Chief of Community Engagement and Executive Director at Neighborcare Health since April 2024. As the Founder and Chair of the African American Health Board since September 2017, Candace Jackson has developed initiatives to promote community wellness by fostering relationships with healthcare and policy leaders. Additionally, Candace Jackson co-founded the Community Health Board Coalition, which comprises 15 ethnically and culturally based health boards advocating for health equity. Previous experience includes serving as Health Practice Director at Pyramid Communications and various roles at Public Health – Seattle & King County, where significant contributions were made to equitable budget processes and the development of environmental justice programs. Candace Jackson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Operations from Washington State University.
