Joshua Hagelgans

Joshua Hagelgans is a Mitigation Specialist on the Homicide Defense Team and a Social Worker on the Criminal Defense Team at Neighborhood Defender Service since September 2018. With experience as a Graduate Assistant at HASA Training Academy - Fordham GSS and as a Social Work Intern at both the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services and Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, Joshua has developed a strong foundation in social work. Previous roles include a Researcher at Camino PR and a Sous Chef at Quality Branded. Joshua holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration from Fordham University, a Grand Diploma of Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern European History & Astronomy from Franklin & Marshall College.
