Martha Welman, MD is the Chief Medical Officer at Neighborhood Health, overseeing medical care at a Federally Qualified Community Health Center. Martha also serves as a Pediatrician at the center. Prior to this, Martha was the Director of Pediatrics at Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Health, where Martha established various programs and initiatives for the Latino community in Northwest DC. Dr. Welman graduated from the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine in 1987.

Our mission is to improve health and advance health equity in Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax by providing access to high quality primary care regardless of ability to pay. Neighborhood Health has been recognized for the quality of care that it provides to its patients and has strong partnerships with local organizations to improve health in our community.
