Douglas R Lyon MD is an accomplished family physician and epidemiologist with extensive experience in both nonprofit and clinical settings. As the Board Chair and Founder of TodoSomos, a nonprofit refugee advocacy organization, Douglas R Lyon has spearheaded initiatives to document the stories of Venezuelan refugees, furthering social outreach and advocacy. Currently serving as a family physician at Neighborhood Health Center in Canby, Oregon, Douglas R Lyon provides primary care to Spanish-speaking migrant workers and Medicaid patients. Previous roles include family physician positions at various health centers and as a medical team lead for Médecins Sans Frontières during the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. Douglas R Lyon holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester and a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
