Alicia Lopez

Alicia Lopez has worked at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island since 2013, starting as a Member Services Supervisor. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day call center operations supporting multiple lines of business, including Medicaid, Medicare/Medicaid (MMP), and commercial. Alicia also developed and designed the Escalation team and its processes, collaborated with upper management and various departments for quality improvement processes, and managed resources to meet service level metrics and performance standards. Alicia later became a Compliance Specialist in 2022 before transitioning to their current role as an Operations Oversight Manager in 2023.

Prior to their work at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Alicia was employed at Bank of America from 2003 to 2010 as a Sales and Service Specialist. In this position, they were responsible for achieving personal and team sales goals, establishing and deepening relationships with banking center customers, and leading from the lobby.

Alicia Lopez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Rhode Island from 2005 to 2009. Alicia then pursued further education at Instituto Ministerial Hebron in Guatemala City from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Theology/Theological Studies.
