Vice President, Strategy And Business Development at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island

Beth Ann Marootian has over 25 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Beth Ann began their career in 1992 as a Health Care Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where they worked until 1997. In 1997, they joined Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, starting as a Director of Quality Management. Beth Ann was promoted to Director of Business Development in 2005 and then to Vice President of Strategy and Business Development in October 2022, where they currently hold a leadership role. Throughout their career, Beth Ann Marootian has demonstrated a strong expertise in strategy, business development, and quality management in the healthcare sector.

Beth Ann Marootian obtained a B.S. degree in Government and African Studies from Colby College, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Later, from 1987 to 1989, they pursued an M.P.H. degree in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at Yale University.
