Senior Data Warehouse Developer at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island

Carlos Armas has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Carlos started their career as a Research Associate at Latino Health Institute Inc in 1998 and worked there for a year. Carlos then joined Great Brook Valley Health Center as a Data Analyst in 1999 and stayed in that role for six years. In this role, they performed analysis and data management of health and psychosocial data, conducted spatial data analysis, and provided statistical support to grant writers and project directors.

Later, Carlos joined Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island in 2005 and held multiple roles during their tenure. Carlos started as a Healthcare Data Analysis Team Lead, where they modeled clinical and financial claims data, performed statistical analysis, and developed metrics to monitor healthcare resources utilization and cost.
