Crystal Hunter's work experience begins in 2004 as a Teacher at West Bay Collaborative. In 2004, they also served as Acting Director of Education at Sylvan Learning. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as an Early Years Manager at Boys and Girls Clubs of America. In 2007, Crystal worked as an Administrative Assistant at Flagship Trailways. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Assistant Technical Specialist at The Health and Wellness Institute. In 2012, they volunteered at Goodwill Industries International. From 2013 to the present, Crystal has been a Project Administrator at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island. Most recently, in 2017, they became a Budget Analyst at the RI Department of Labor and Training.
Crystal Hunter obtained a BS in Education from Rhode Island College from 1998 to 2003. Crystal also received a Human Resource certification from Bryant University from 2013 to 2015 in the field of Human Resources. In addition to their formal education, Crystal obtained certifications in Instructional Design from ASDT in October 2012 and in Intermediate Excel from Fred Pryor and Associates in June 2012. Crystal also obtained a certification as an Elementary Education Teacher from the Rhode Island Department of Education, although the month and year of this certification are unknown.
