Michelle Sears

Michelle Sears has a diverse work history in finance and accounting. Michelle is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Finance for the same company from May 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Michelle worked at Health New England, Inc. for a significant portion of their career. Michelle held various roles, starting as a Senior Accountant from January 2007 to July 2014, then progressing to the position of Accounting Manager from July 2014 to April 2015. Michelle further advanced to become the Director of Financial Reporting from April 2015 to May 2020.

Their early experience includes a role as a Senior Accountant at Sisters of Providence Health System in Springfield, MA, where they worked from January 1999 to October 2000. Michelle has demonstrated extensive experience and progression in finance and accounting roles throughout their career.

Michelle Sears received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Westfield State University in 1998. Michelle later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the College of Our Lady of the Elms, completing their studies in 2014.
