Saruon Tep

Saruon Tep has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Their most recent position was at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, where they worked as a Security/Network Administrator starting in February 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Support Representative at the same company from April 2019 to February 2020.

Before joining Neighborhood Health Plan, Saruon Tep worked as a Desktop Support Specialist at Clayton County Board of Commissioners from September 2018 to March 2019. They also had a brief tenure at CanvasIT as a Technical Analyst II from April 2018 to August 2018, and as a Technical Analyst I from March 2018 to April 2018.

Prior to transitioning into the IT field, Saruon Tep worked at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island as a Technical Support Specialist II from July 2014 to January 2018. In this role, they provided first-line support for end user technical issues, installed and updated various applications, and managed a high volume of tickets daily.

Saruon Tep also has experience in the retail industry, having worked as a Courtesy Clerk at Kroger from September 2012 to August 2013, and as a Stock/Sales Clerk at EXPRESS in June 2012.

Saruon Tep began their education journey in 2014 at the Community College of Rhode Island, where they attended for one year. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In the same period, from 2014 to 2015, they also attended Year Up - Providence, focusing on Information Technology.

In terms of additional certifications, Saruon Tep obtained the InsightVM Certified Administrator certification from Rapid7 in May 2020.
