Sean Wiggins

Sean Wiggins, CBCP, has a diverse work history that spans various industries and roles. Sean started their professional career at Showcase Cinemas, where they worked as a Stand Attendant from May 2014 to September 2016. During their tenure, Sean efficiently operated the concession stand, provided exceptional customer service, and ensured the cleanliness and organization of the concession area.

Following their time at Showcase Cinemas, Sean joined PCW Computer as a Technician in May 2017. In this role, they assisted customers with product recommendations and demonstrations, managed on-site inventory, and performed software installations and troubleshooting. Sean'sdedication to customer satisfaction contributed to increased sales and overall success.

In September 2019, Sean took on an internship at Waste Management as a Client Analytics and Sales Support Intern. During this four-month position, they developed project plans to address customer requirements, created standardized process documentation, and gathered and analyzed financial and statistical data for leadership analysis.

Sean's next career move was to CVS Health in January 2021, where they worked as a Business Continuity Analyst until July 2022. In this role, they facilitated risk assessments, conducted business impact analyses, and developed strategies and plans. Sean also coordinated calls and provided support to plan owners and crisis management teams during emergencies and business disruptions. Sean completed threat and vulnerability assessments to assess the potential impact on select locations.

Currently, Sean is employed at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island as a Risk and Resilience Analyst, a position they started in August 2022.

Sean Wiggins, CBCP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Eastern Connecticut State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their degree, Sean has obtained several certifications, including Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute) in March 2023. Sean has also completed various courses offered by FEMA, such as IS 100 Introduction to Incident Command System, IS 120 Introduction to Exercises, IS 200 For Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents, IS 242 Effective Communication, IS 700 National Incident Management System (NIMS), and IS 800 National Response Framework, all in March 2021. Sean has also completed the Third-Party Risk Fundamentals certification from Shared Assessments in March 2023.
