Julie M. Bonar

Julie Bonar's work experience includes serving as the CEO and President of Neighborhood House of Peoria since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Teacher at Peoria Public Schools from November 2018 to October 2021. Julie also worked as a Guest Services Associate at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois from December 2019 to July 2020, and as a Studio Guide at WW (formerly Weight Watchers) from December 2019 to March 2020. Previously, they held the role of Director Of Religious Education at St. Joseph Catholic Church from June 2017 to October 2018. Additionally, they served as the Director of DECA Images at DECA, Inc. from October 2006 to June 2017 and as a Marketing Teacher at Loudoun County from August 2000 to October 2006. Their early work experience includes a role as a Marketing Teacher at Alamance Burlington School System from August 1999 to June 2000.

Julie Bonar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Management from Philadelphia University, attending from 1989 to 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Marketing Education at Bowling Green State University, completing their studies from 1997 to 1998.
