Emy Haruo

Emy Haruo, MSW, possesses extensive experience in community health and social services. Currently serving as the Director of Community Health at Neighborhood House since February 2016, Emy has held multiple roles including Program Director of Community Resources and ADS Resource Manager, providing compliance support to employment programs and collaborating with staff to enhance service quality. Prior experience includes a Child Welfare Specialist role with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, managing cases for families, and as a Lead Youth Counselor with the Associated Recreation Council. Emy holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington focused on Families and Child Welfare, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Family Studies from Central Washington University.
