Amy P. Nykaza

Amy P. Nykaza currently serves as Village Manager for the Village of Waterman since May 2021 and has held the role of Supervisor for Barrington Township since September 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing the township board, managing the general assistance program, and acting as treasurer for various funds. Nykaza also has extensive experience as an Assessor within Barrington Township, supervising the Assessors Office and ensuring compliance with local laws. In parallel, Nykaza works as a Content & Event Manager for N2 Publishing, managing content for community publications and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Previous experience includes a role as a Sales Representative for Market Day and a successful tenure as a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Real Estate, specializing in residential properties in the Chicago suburbs. Nykaza holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.
