David E. Rudolph

David Rudolph is the current Director at the Neighborhood Service Organization. David has over 20 years of experience in public relations and community relations.

David began their career with the Detroit Pistons in May 1994 as the Public Relations & Community Relations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating special community and charity events involving the Detroit Pistons basketball team or individual player appearances. David also managed the $8 million PARK Program (Partnership to Adopt & Renovate Parks for Kids), cultivated business and civic group partnerships, and acted as a liaison between the Pistons organization, the City of Detroit, and other corporate sponsors.

In June 1996, David left the Pistons to join D. Ericson & Associates Public Relations as an account executive. David served in this role for two years before returning to the Pistons organization in 1998 as the Director of Community Relations. In this role, David was responsible for developing and coordinating special events for the Pistons organization, including the Pistons-Palace Foundation Volunteer Recognition Night, Christmas in the Park Celebration, and Detroit Pistons/Detroit Health Department Community Health Fair & Youth Basketball Clinic.

David left the Pistons organization in 2006 to join the Neighborhood Service Organization as the Director of Communications. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all communications and public relations activities for the organization.

David E. Rudolph's educational career began at Lutheran High School West, where they earned their high school diploma. David then went on to Michigan State University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. After graduating from Michigan State University, David E. Rudolph studied overseas at the UNSW and the University of Cambridge, where they earned a Master of Science in International Relations, Business & Trade.
