Pourya Jannesari

Pourya Jannesari has a solid work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Pourya started their career at Prime Systems/Directron in 2012 as a Computer Specialist, where they performed hardware diagnostics, software patching, and collaborated with vendors to resolve advanced problems. In 2016, they joined Carissa Health Care Services Inc as an Information Security Analyst, where they reviewed third-party attestations and analyzed data flow diagrams. In 2019, Pourya transitioned to Intec Logic Global, LLC as a Cyber Security Analyst, where they assisted with information security assessments, managed compliance, and conducted security assessments on multiple projects. Currently, they are working at Neighborly as a Cyber Security Engineer, starting in 2022.

Pourya Jannesari attended the University of Houston starting in 2016 and is currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology. In addition to their university education, they obtained a certification as a Certified Security Code Engineer from Checkmarx in January 2023. Pourya is also currently working towards obtaining the (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
