Jessica Bira has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Human Resources Manager at Essex Industries, Inc from May 2002 to November 2012. During this time, they were responsible for managing employee relations, compensation, payroll administration, benefits enrollment, and resolving personnel grievances. Jessica also played a key role in developing and implementing employee wellness plans, reward incentives, and safety measures.

After their role at Essex Industries, Jessica became a stay-at-home mom from November 2012 to July 2013. Following their break, they joined the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri as a Troup Leader in September 2014.

Jessica then transitioned to the financial sector, working at Neighbors Credit Union from May 2015 to present. Jessica started as a Senior Human Resources Generalist and was later promoted to Human Resources Manager and then Human Resources Director in February 2020 and September 2021, respectively.

Jessica Bira has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Lindenwood University. Additionally, they have studied Business Administration at St. Louis Community College.
