Katie Sparkes

Katie Sparkes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, content creation, and fundraising. Currently serving as a Fundraising and Development Consultant for Radical Partners, Katie identifies and organizes funding opportunities that align with leadership development and community engagement initiatives in South Florida. In addition, Katie contributes as a Copy Editor for IXL Learning and as a Content Writer for NeighborSchools, where profiles of Early Childhood Education professionals are crafted. Previously, Katie held roles as Senior Editor at CommonLit, Middle School English Teacher and Department Chair at Palmer Trinity School, Director of Wellness at KIPP Philadelphia Schools, and instructional roles at KIPP NYC and Teach For America. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, Education, and Spanish from Middlebury College and a Master of Education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
