Joel Couture

Joel Couture is an experienced Assistive Technology Facilitator at the Neil Squire Society since November 2020, where responsibilities include assessing clients and providing individualized training to enhance their use of assistive tools for success at work, school, and home. In addition to this role, Joel serves as Editor In Chief at IndieGamesPlus and has been a freelance writer for Game Developer since January 2016, focusing on conducting interviews and writing long-form articles about the gaming industry. Previous experience includes editing roles at IndieGames.com and Siliconera.com, where Joel was responsible for news writing and research. Joel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, as well as Criminology, from St. Thomas University, completed between 2000 and 2004.
