Keelan Foley

Keelan Foley has a diverse work experience across various industries. Keelan has worked as the Head of Content at Neilson Financial Services since December 2020, where they are responsible for overseeing the content strategy. Prior to that, they served as the Head of SEO at the same company from June 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining Neilson Financial Services, Keelan worked as the SEO Manager at Life Style Sports from September 2016 to May 2019. In this role, they focused on technical SEO, UX, and content marketing/optimization to drive organic traffic and conversion.

Keelan also held the position of Head of SEO at Vroom Digital from January 2016 to September 2016. Here, Keelan's responsibilities included creating SEO plans, on-site SEO, link building, and content writing for over 40 SME clients.

Keelan started their career as an Online Marketing Executive at Ding from January 2014 to January 2016, where they managed the company's website and handled SEO development.

Additionally, Keelan has gained experience in the music industry. Keelan worked as a Music Blogger at their own blog, Keelan Foley Music Blog, from October 2011 to January 2016. Keelan also served as a Live Music Reviewer for Gigwise.com from May 2012 to February 2014 and a Music Reviewer for State magazine/state.ie from April 2012 to April 2013.

Furthermore, Keelan has worked as a Freelance Web Designer from January 2012 to January 2015, and as a Band Publicist for GANGS from February 2014 to July 2014. Keelan also briefly worked as an Audio Post Production Editor at Killorglin Archive Society from November 2012 to December 2012.

Keelan Foley attended Munster Technological University from 2009 to 2013 where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interactive Multimedia. Prior to that, they attended Intermediate School Killorglin from 2004 to 2009 and completed their Irish Leaving Certificate. In terms of additional certifications, Keelan obtained a Digital Sales Certificate, Google Ads Fundamentals certification, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in March 2018. Keelan also holds a Certified SEO Practitioner certification from Praxis Now, obtained in 2014.
