Shanshan Bai

Shanshan Bai has extensive experience in the fashion industry. Shanshan began their career in 2009 as a Design Assistant to the Creative Director at Dansco Dance & Active Wears. In 2011, they took on a Technical Design Intern role at gr.dano. In 2013, they worked as a Collection Designer for Mercedes-Benz Spring 2014 Fashion Week, a Design Intern at Yigal Azrouël, Inc., a Knitwear Design Intern at 3.1 Phillip Lim, and a Freelance Designer at J.Crew. In 2014, they were the Head Designer at Fuli Zhi Zhou Fashion Co.,Ltd, where they were in charge of the start-up designer line, building and adjusting core direction, and setting concept, planning fabric/element/category-balance and R&D schedule for each season. In 2015, they were a Knitwear Designer at Elegant Prosper Fashion Co.,Ltd. Finally, in 2016, they became a Senior Designer at ICICLE, and in 2022, they assumed the role of Head Designer at NEIWAI.

Shanshan Bai began their education in 2004 when they attended Peking University and earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics in 2008. Afterward, they completed Professional Training in Fashion Design at the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in 2008. Finally, they earned their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fashion Design & Knitwear Design from the Academy of Art University in 2013.
