Katherine Arnold currently serves as the Assistant Information Officer at NEIWPCC, where responsibilities include supporting programming, assisting with correspondence, coordinating meetings, and preparing written materials. Previous experience includes managing a park nature center for the State of Vermont, overseeing operations, conducting nature programs, and creating interpretive displays. As a Field Team Leader with AmeriCorps NCCC, Katherine supervised a diverse team and managed federal funds, documenting service projects through reports. At Union College, roles included Student Researcher, Student Assistant focused on event marketing, and Lecture Notetaker. Early experience includes a Teaching Assistant position at Crossroads Center For Children and a Summer Camp Counselor role at Concord Academy. Katherine is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at UMass Boston, having earned a degree in Psychology with a focus on Human Services from Union College.
NEIWPCC
NEIWPCC [NŪ-Ē-PĬK] is a regional commission that helps the states of the Northeast preserve and advance water quality. We engage and convene water quality professionals and other interested parties from New England and New York to collaborate on water, wastewater, and environmental science challenges across shared regions, ecosystems, and areas of expertise. We develop, coordinate, and conduct training courses for wastewater and other water quality professionals regionally and nationwide. We conduct research into water-related topics, monitor environmental factors, and fund such work by others. We also implement and fund environmental restoration and other on-the-ground projects. We fund and/or staff programs that engage the public through events, exhibits, web and print publications, and other outreach activities. We actively represent the interests of member states at meetings with federal and state officials and in regional and national water and wastewater associations.
