Business Operations Intern at NEIWPCC

Tyler Way is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Currently serving as a Student Intern in the Waste and Chemical Compliance Section at Environmental Protection since August 2020, Tyler analyzes environmental program data and identifies compliance targets. Previously, Tyler has held roles such as Business Operations Intern at the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission, where responsibilities included compiling training conference resources, and Fitness Center/Welcome Desk Attendant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, focusing on customer service. Additional experience includes positions at Cardinal Group Management as a Community Leasing Intern, Malinkowski Construction as a Laborer, and Camp Fire as a Senior Counselor. Tyler is also pursuing an Early College Program in Business Administration at North Shore Community College.

NEIWPCC

NEIWPCC [NŪ-Ē-PĬK] is a regional commission that helps the states of the Northeast preserve and advance water quality. We engage and convene water quality professionals and other interested parties from New England and New York to collaborate on water, wastewater, and environmental science challenges across shared regions, ecosystems, and areas of expertise. We develop, coordinate, and conduct training courses for wastewater and other water quality professionals regionally and nationwide. We conduct research into water-related topics, monitor environmental factors, and fund such work by others. We also implement and fund environmental restoration and other on-the-ground projects. We fund and/or staff programs that engage the public through events, exhibits, web and print publications, and other outreach activities. We actively represent the interests of member states at meetings with federal and state officials and in regional and national water and wastewater associations.
